AnchorPoint Partners is built on more than philosophy — it’s built on lived experience forged in the trenches of the electronics industry.
Over the course of more than three decades, AnchorPoint founder Christopher Lins has experienced this business from nearly every conceivable perspective. He began his career in the semiconductor world, designing, testing, and supporting emerging technologies at Texas Instruments. Those early years shaped how he thinks and operates today — define the problem, then solve it.
From there, he moved into the commercial front lines as a global strategic account manager with Advanced Micro Devices. The shift from local to global operations widened perspectives and expanded horizons.
He later co-founded Synergy Associates, one of New England’s top manufacturers’ reps, where he learned the craft and discipline of independent representation — building a business based on relationships, not quotas. That entrepreneurial chapter led to leadership roles with Spansion and Power-One, where he managed both reps and distribution teams, then expanded internationally to develop new markets in Latin America.
As Vice President and General Manager at Powerbox USA, Chris joined the CEO’s staff as a member of the International Leadership Team, guiding corporate strategy while rebuilding the Americas business through a private equity exit and post-merger integration. At Bel Fuse, as Senior Director of Vertical Market Development, he leveraged his experience to build scalable growth strategies across global markets.
Through The Lins Company, Chris coaches executives by writing and speaking about what he has always practiced: building thriving cultures under inspired leadership and providing exceptional customer experiences. All of which are foundational realities at AnchorPoint Partners.
